Que? Enserio otro semana ya pasó?

Hey momma how are you this fine Monday??:) haha and yeah I know this last week flew by, it’s been insane.. but I’m doing great! Well yes, like it sounds, indeed this week has been fairly crazy as well... I just don’t think it’s possible to have a normal proselyting week as a ZL but I love it so it’s all good!!:) So after last week when we talked on Tuesday, we spent a lot of our time that night setting appointments for the rest of the week. Then on Wednesday everything got derailed... We were in lunch with a member and we got a call from Pres. Isom. He said one of the elders in our zone was in the hospital, so we went to go take them food and it turned out the elder (Elder de Souza) had to get his appendix taken out. So we were in a trio with the comp of the elder getting surgery. Then we had an NDH with the Obisbo Schnettler and that was actually really good to talk with him and share about the gospel!:)

The next day we were still in a trio because Elder de Souza was in the hospital in recovery. We went to the elders sector, a part called Puerto Octay, to contact a referral. It was so beautiful there!!:) Then on Friday we went and visited Rolando (who we have with fecha) and he is doing so great. We taught tithing and fasting and he accepted and said he will do it!!:) Then we went to the other elders sector, and I went to a cita with Elder Bertolio (the comp of sick Elder de Souza:) ) and it was so cool. The spirit was just so strong in the lesson and we just clicked. I used some examples in teaching that I don’t usually use because they don’t relate to a lot of people, but they were perfect for him in the end!!:) It was sweet. On Saturday we did the service for hno Auturo deconstructing the house still:) Then on Sunday I went with Elder Bertolio to church because his comp still can’t leave the house. So the mission matrimonial stayed with de Souza and I went with Elder Bertolio to church. After church we had a bomb American style lunch with the McArthurs!:) They are from St. George.

Well it sounds like you’ve had a pretty good week. That’s awesome that you could go to the temple and oh man that’s so sweet. I wanna go to watch Andrew in a baseball game!! Woah thank you for the spiritual thought momma I love it!!:) And that actually helps me quite a bit and it reminds me of this last Sunday (yesterday). We talked about serving others and how we need to try not to do service for the image. The Lord will bless us for our service and we will leave a great effect and help those around us.:) Thank you for that!!:) And my thought is from President Hinckley in his lesson on service to others. "What is the thing that makes missionaries so happy? The simple act that they lose themselves in the service of others."

Love you momma. I hope you have such a great week. Love you to eternity and beyond!!:)

Love you,
Elder Shawners Spencer

The first 7 pictures are fotos from Puerto Octay -- it is beautiful there.
